How It Works
Getting started
- Open CodeDrop from the Canva editor side panel.
- Paste any HTML and CSS snippet into the text area.
- If multiple sections are detected, use the dropdown to pick which one to convert — or convert them all at once.
- Click Add to Canva. Your HTML appears as a fully editable group on the canvas — resize, recolor, and restyle freely.
The content is automatically scaled to fit your Canva page dimensions.
What you can convert
- Email templates (Mailchimp, SendGrid, or custom HTML emails)
- Website sections and landing page snippets
- UI components and marketing cards
- Social media card layouts written in HTML/CSS
Paste any valid HTML and CSS — the app converts text, shapes, images, and background colors into native Canva elements you can customize.
Pricing
Free — 5 conversions per month. No sign-up required.
Pro ($12 USD/month) — 100 conversions per month with higher element limits. Upgrade directly from the app when you need more.
Coming soon
- Live preview — see a rendered preview of your HTML before adding it to Canva
- Starter templates — one-click HTML snippets for common use cases like email headers, CTA buttons, and pricing cards
- Batch convert — convert every detected section onto its own new Canva page in one click (Pro)
